Hiring: Warehouse & Operations Specialist (m/f/d) | Amsterdam, Netherlands | 2-5 Years Experience

Position Overview

The Warehouse & Operations Specialist is responsible for warehouse fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, shipment coordination, and operational support for freight forwarding activities.
The role requires operational discipline, accuracy under pressure, and coordination with warehouse teams, transport providers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Requirements Engineering:

Manage daily warehouse fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch preparation.
Coordinate inbound and outbound cargo movements with transport providers and freight forwarding teams.
Ensure shipment accuracy, inventory control, and compliance with operational procedures.
Support basic freight forwarding activities, including shipment coordination, document handling, and communication with agents or carriers.
Monitor shipment timelines and resolve operational issues under tight deadlines.
Maintain warehouse organization, operational cleanliness, and process discipline.
Coordinate with customer service and operations teams regarding shipment status and fulfillment requirements.
Support inventory checks, stock reconciliation, and operational reporting where required.

Experience and Requirements

2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, or freight forwarding within the EU.
Work authorization mandatory (for Netherlands)
Basic understanding of freight forwarding processes, transport documentation, and warehouse cargo handling.
Exposure to air, ocean, or road freight operations preferred.
Experience with freight management or ERP systems; experience with Scope ERP preferred.
Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
Fluent in Dutch, working knowledge of English for coordination with international agents and offices.
Experience in warehouse fulfillment operations, including picking and packing.
Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support operational requirements.
