Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated AUTOSAR Engineer with strong expertise in cockpit domain ECUs, including Instrument Clusters, Infotainment Systems, and Head-Up Displays. The role demands hands-on experience in Classic AUTOSAR architecture, strong embedded C development skills, and exposure to OEM-grade automotive development processes. This position is ideal for professionals who can operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and contribute from Day 1.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and integrate Classic AUTOSAR stacks for Cockpit ECUs
- Develop and maintain BSW modules, MCAL integration, and RTE configuration
- Implement application-layer software in Embedded C for:
- Instrument Cluster (display logic, tell-tales, diagnostics)
- Infotainment (communication interfaces, media control integration)
- Head-Up Display (real-time data projection interfaces)
- Configure and integrate communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet
- Work on diagnostics (UDS), bootloader integration, and flashing processes
- Perform integration, debugging, and validation using CANoe/CANalyzer
- Collaborate with system architects, hardware teams, HMI teams, and OEM stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE and functional safety processes (ISO 26262 exposure preferred)
- Support production release, issue resolution, and customer escalations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AUTOSAR-based ECU development
- Strong expertise in: AUTOSAR Classic Platform, Embedded C, ECU configuration tools (DaVinci, EB Tresos, or equivalent), CAN/LIN/SPI/Ethernet communication stacks
- Experience in Cockpit ECUs (Instrument Cluster / Infotainment / Head Up Display)
- Familiarity with automotive debugging tools and calibration environments
- Good understanding of automotive software lifecycle
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Adaptive AUTOSAR (good to have)
- Experience with display controllers and graphics pipelines
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (Secure Boot, Secure Flashing)
- Prior experience with European OEM programs
- Fluent in English; German language proficiency is an advantage
